Tournament Information:

Registration fee:
$60 per team*

*Team registration is only confirmed after payment has been made and verified by the participant. Priority is given to teams that has completed payment first (unless under special request to organiser)

Registration closing date:
1 week (7 days) before starting date of tournament
 

Tournament venue:
Palawan Beach, Sentosa (subjected to change depending on venue availability)
 

Tournament duration:

8am - 6pm (subjected to change dependent on inclement weather)

Team registration limit:
16 teams cap per gender or co-eds

Tournament regulations:
The tournament will follow the most recently updated FIVB Beach Volleyball Rules

Net Height:
Women’s Open (223cm)

Men’s Open (243cm)
Mixed Open (238cm)
 

Tournament format:

1) Preliminary round*:
All teams will play a 21-point, 1-set pool game match (court switch at every 7 points, w/deuce. 1 time out per team per set)

The top two teams in the pool game will advance to the winners' tournament. The losers of the pool game advance to a losers' round-robin game.

*In case of tiebreak in Round Robin Stage, the teams will be classified in descending order by the total of points lost during all sets.

2) Winner’s tournament:
Advanced teams will play elimination games played to 21-point, 3-set matches (court switch at every 7 points, w/deuce. 1 time out per team per set)

3) Loser’s Round Robin:
Loser teams pool will be shuffled into Round Robin games played to 21-point, 3-set matches.

Prize category:
 

Prize money is only available to the champion team. The prize money pool is dependent on no. of participating teams.

Other prizes (non-monetary) will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place winners' tournament and the losers' game champion.
 

Pullouts/Cancellations:
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the tournament. If you cancel after that, the application fee will not be refunded. Regarding injuries and illnesses: You are responsible for all injuries and illnesses that occur during the tournament.

Closing note:

WINDS Academy reserves the right to alter tournament regulations before and during or cancel any tournament if deemed necessary by organiser. Any decision made by the organiser is final without dispute. All injuries or illnesses during the tournament are the sole responsibility of the participant.
