Service Description

*No prior indoor volleyball/beach volleyball experience is required to join Beginner classes Beginner Level Class Description (Indoor Volleyball Rules on Sand) This class is designed for players developing their basic motor skills and learning the fundamentals of volleyball—played on sand but following indoor volleyball rules and format. Who this level is for: Brand new players with little to no volleyball experience Players who want to learn foundational indoor volleyball techniques in a sand-based training environment Lesson Focus: Developing basic motor skills: Participants will build essential movements like running, jumping, shuffling, and lunging on sand, helping to develop balance, agility, and coordination specific to sand-based movement. Learning key volleyball skills and techniques: Players will be introduced to indoor volleyball fundamentals including passing, setting, attacking (spiking), the indoor-style jump approach, and standing/overhand serving—all adapted to the sand surface. Improving basic ball control: The focus will be on executing passes with control, setting with consistent height and accuracy, and spiking with proper hand contact and timing in the context of indoor team play. Understanding indoor-style gameplay on sand: Players will learn the basic positions, rotations, and team systems typical of indoor volleyball, while adapting to the movement and feel of playing on sand. Mastering these foundational skills in a sand environment helps build strength, control, and game understanding before progressing to more advanced indoor or sand volleyball formats.
